JJGPS adds a new topic for which type of executive branch agency administers juvenile corrections

Every state has a juvenile corrections agency responsible for administering long-term commitments to state custody. A few such as Arkansas, and more recently Florida, contract with private providers to run all residential services. However, most directly operate long-term facilities or that are a proxy for prison for teenagers.
