New JJGPS CaseStudy: Three states achieving high standards through state supports center for evidence-based policies, programs and practices.

NCJJ has released the second in a new series of case-study publications supporting themes explored in the Juvenile Justice Geography, Policy, Practice, and Statistics website (JJGPS.org).

The understanding of what works to address the risks and needs of juvenile justice system-involved youth has evolved over time.  A national survey indicated that states vary in the extent to which they formally support evidence-based policies, programs, and practices in their juvenile justice system.  This Case Study tells how three states established EBP State Support Centers to promote a research-informed juvenile justice system through training and technical assistance, data collection and analysis, and continued stakeholder involvement.
