The JJGPS updates U.S. delinquency age boundaries and the supporting StateScan publication.

NCJJ has updated the Age Boundaries topic on the Juvenile Justice Geography, Policy, Practice and Statistics website (click here).  The website has expanded to provide supporting summaries of state statutes for lower, upper, and extended age boundaries of delinquency and age boundaries for status offenses (click here).

To support the release, NCJJ has updated the 4-page StateScan publication, U.S. Age Boundaries of Delinquency 2015.

The publication summarizes the results of a statutory analysis of lower, upper, and extended age of delinquency and original juvenile court jurisdiction for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands).
