The JJGPS team adds a new topic concerning solitary confinement.

NCJJ has collaborated with the Lowenstein Center for Public Interest to add a topic to the Juvenile Justice Services area concerning solitary confinement in juvenile correctional facilities.  The topic is based on a point-in-time survey and includes state summaries when selecting a state shape. The addition of solitary also is represented in state summary checklists that span dozens of reform topics that enable cross-issue comparisons and with quantitative overlays for juvenile arrest, detention and state commitment trends.
