The Juvenile Justice State Advisory Council and the Office of Youth Services completed an assessment in 2012 for the whole state. Data was assessed from 2000 to 2010 for African American, Hispanic, and Asian youth. Decision points assessed included arrest, referral, diversion, detention, petition, delinquent findings, probation, and confinement. Research methods included interviews, multivariate analysis, and descriptive statistics.
